Good evening all …or rather, good morning!
I just so happen to be in Phoenix this weekend therefore another off the wall post coming your way; as in nothing to do with LBM but that’s okay, we’ll get back to that.
I was just going through some pics, this one actually taken in Washington state, and decided to share it. Why? Well, because just by looking at it I could taste its goodness!
It’s amazing how much more flavor lives in organic produce, never mind the higher level of nutrients. And then I’m left to wonder … okay we won’t get into the politics of that for now – guess I really don’t want to go there ‘cause we could go on forever.
Instead I hope you like my shot and you can enjoy some fabulous organic produce real soon. I would love for everyone to be able to intake and savor real food. Bon Appetite!
I took this photo up in the Salinas mountains during the 4th of July holidays, back in 2014. We enjoyed the perfect hospitality of our hosts spending a fabulous week up there, dipping down to the coast into the Monterey area every other day with my daughter. The honeysuckles on their property were vibrant; still as delicious as when I was a kid!
I trust you’ll enjoy the views I am sharing here with you!
We enjoyed refreshments and lots of delicious produce, naturally!
Breathtaking scenes that stopped us in our tracks.
Friendly faces to behold!
And amazing natural beauty along the way!
While I missed sharing LBM’s adventures with all of you I will admit, once again, the time spent away from the computer was worth it. A weekend in so Cal (no I’m not including the location of Monterey in my so Cal geography) and some family members not seen in a while, made for a very special weekend.
In celebration, my eldest son returned home safely -once again- from his tour of duty in Iraq (previously having served in other Middle Eastern lands as well), to the relief of his many family members thus making this weekend the best!
To add to the beauty of it all, LBM celebrated his 82nd birthday this past Friday!
I hope all of you had a perfect Spring Break/Easter holiday too.
So here I stand at the shore – well, one of many but this time it’s the Monterey Coastline. The reason I am sharing this has something to do with not posting this past Sunday. I had made a date with myself to do something I have patiently waited to accomplish for over 20 years – and I did it! I’ll be happy to share that in a future post.
I selected this photo to demonstrate how such a beautiful life can encounter tangles and yet remain intensely engaging, so far out and return to beautiful.
Am I a 🌳 hugger… 🌿you have to ask? I seem to have a soundtrack to almost every moment in my life, hah! I have to laugh at myself often when I reflect on some of the things I do! ☺️
🦋 I am certainly the one who is constantly stopping to smell the 🌼 not picking, only photographing and planning crazy adventures in hopes they’ll actualize (my odds have been about 60/40 at present). And do I spend ridiculous amounts of time staring at the 🌖 and the sea? Absolutely, whenever I can!
🦎Oops now how did I get off on that trail? Ah well, guess it had to come out at some point lol, that was fun!
Anyhow the tangles this week were enough to keep away from the computer and that’s okay. I’m on a lifetime high from this past weekend; absolutely no regrets!
Returning to LBM this weekend. Wait till you see how many more tangles enter the scene. Chaos, romantic adventures naturally, dangerous waters, many more foreign destinations, etc., await and to make an important note:
LBM is still trying to locate some old photographs and that’s why there aren’t any yet. We really do want to add some visuals for you and we’re trying to avoid stock pics only because we’re looking to be as directly tied in/accurate as possible.
Thanks for understanding and for your continued views (please remember to comment & share) and support ~ with LOVE all things are possible, it’s really true!
